8-Piston SuperComp 400mm Red Big Brake Kit

This rear brake system integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The kit includes Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, which is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers. Forged aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are standard, contributing to greatly improved pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique rotor slot design helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. This specific kit features cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. This particular Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit (BKHD050-862CO) is specifically designed for the 2002-2003 Honda Civic Si EP3 chassis with a 4x100 bolt pattern. It's important to note that due to the larger caliper size, the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit.
