8-Piston SuperComp Caliper Big Brake Kit

This front brake upgrade integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure consistent pad surface refreshment during braking. At the heart of this kit is an extreme lightweight caliper, weighing just over 5lbs each, that is precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. It features a differential bore configuration, protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to stock components. Furthermore, stainless steel brake lines are included to eliminate expansion under pressure, ensuring a firm and responsive pedal feel. The kit incorporates a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design effectively combats thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and rotor cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors not only reduces braking noise but also expedites the expulsion of gas and pad debris, leading to more efficient braking. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features slotted rotors, recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving, as they offer superior heat dissipation and performance under demanding conditions. The caliper color is red and the rotor diameter is 380mm (15 inches).
