Overview

The Ksport Supercomp 8 Piston is a front big brake kit designed for the Dodge Caliber SRT-4 models from 2008-2009. This kit provides extreme stopping power and features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to the Procomp kit, along with a full-floating rotor design for enhanced self-centering. The calipers are constructed from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and corrosion resistance, and utilize aluminum pistons for improved heat management.

Featuring a lightweight SuperComp 8-piston caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, this caliper weighs just over 5 lbs and includes integrated protection grooves. It is equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features slotted rotors, recommended for vehicles used more for track driving than daily use. Application: 2008-2009 Dodge Caliber SRT-4. Note: Ksport Big Brake kits fit 2WD vehicles only.
