8-Point Race-Legal Roll Cage

The Solo Motorsports W-I-Y 8-Point Race-Legal Roll Cage is engineered for 1986-2015 Ford Ranger extra cabs, providing a robust safety structure for racing or off-road use. The main section and under-floor pontoons are constructed from durable 2"x.120 wall DOM tubing, while the roof webbing uses 1.75"x.120 wall DOM, and the windshield A-bars and gussets are made from 1.25"x.120 wall DOM. All pieces are CNC-bent and laser-notched for precise fitment, and laser-marked for simplified assembly. This kit also includes CNC-bent tubes that extend from the A-pillars through the firewall to the front of the frame, creating a starting point for an engine cage. These tubes are specifically bent to maintain full windshield wiper functionality and allow the truck to remain street legal. Installation details are provided via a Dropbox link with photos illustrating the process from start to finish. While the kit is designed for easy assembly, it's important to note that 1998 and newer Ford Rangers require fabrication on the rear cab frame. Additionally, all Rangers will need their rear frame body mounts removed. Professional installation by a certified welder is required, and Solo Motorsports is not responsible for improper installation. The cage is made in the U.S.A.
