Description

The Ultra Racing 8-Point Rear Torsion Bar is engineered to combat chassis flex and deformation that negatively impacts vehicle handling. During aggressive driving, such as fast cornering, hard braking, or rapid acceleration, the vehicle's chassis experiences significant weight transfer. This can cause one side of the car to bear substantially more force than the other, leading to body flex, twisting, and a loss of tire grip. This flex can manifest as undesirable handling characteristics, including understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing torsion bar provides an 8-point reinforcement to the chassis, stabilizing the vehicle's structure and helping to maintain tire contact with the road. Specifically designed for the Proton Putra 1.8 2WD (1996-2004) and Satria 1.3 (1994-2005), this rear torsion bar is intended to improve the overall stability and handling performance of these models. Ultra Racing has over 20 years of experience in engineering chassis handling components.
