8 Pot Big Brake Kit

This kit surpasses the Procomp series with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, augmented by more pistons and standard full-floating rotors that ensure better self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, providing exceptional lightweight strength and inherent corrosion resistance. They also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. The two-piece floating rotor design allows the outer section to move slightly, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even pad application. Customers can select between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit includes SC5 Street Ceramic pads, which offer a 50% reduction in brake dust and significantly less noise and rotor wear compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing improved pedal response and a firmer feel by preventing hose expansion under pressure. This kit is specifically designed for the 1992-2000 Lexus SC300 and SC400 models.
