The Tomei EXPREME Ti FULL TITANIUM MUFFLER (TB6090-SB05C) represents the pinnacle of single exhaust design, specifically optimized for FA24 engines in the GR86 and new BRZ. This Ver.3 model is the latest evolution, building on the legendary success of the Ver.1 and the adaptability of Ver.2. Constructed from ultra-lightweight 1.0mm titanium, the Ver.3 achieves a remarkable weight of just 6.9kg (15.2lbs), making it the lightest in the TYPE-80 series. This significant weight reduction, combined with a straight-through design and fewer welds, contributes to sharp responsiveness and an aggressive, racing-inspired exhaust note. The large 80.5mm diameter pipe is designed to handle significant power upgrades, making it suitable for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications. Developed to address specific fitment challenges with the newer GR86/BRZ chassis, the Ver.3 features a completely redesigned silencer. Unlike the Ver.1, which had potential interference risks and variable protrusion, the Ver.3 offers optimized bumper clearance and zero interference for the ZN8/ZD8 models. While still compatible with the first-generation FA20 engines (ZN6/ZC6), the Ver.3 is specifically tuned for the FA24. For FA20 engines, the Ver.1 is recommended for optimal fitment, though the Ver.3 will still fit with slightly increased protrusion and sound volume.
