The Reese High-Performance Trunnion Kit is a weight distribution hitch designed for superior strength and easy adjustment. It features a head design with integrated cam for optional Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control, 9-link chains for easier setup on larger trailer frames, and innovative snap-up brackets for durability. It eliminates the need for raised hitch balls and has easy-to-use serrated washers for head adjustment. The forged ball platform and spring bar mounts are rated up to 15,000 lbs. Gross Towing Weight (GTW) and 800 lbs. Tongue Weight (TW). It comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The system provides a more level ride, greater steering and brake control by distributing the tongue weight across all axles of the tow vehicle and trailer. Reese uses high-quality steel and specialized manufacturing processes including induction heating and forming for tapered bars, ensuring high strength and excellent durability. Spring bars are physically tested for spring rate, maximum strength, and fatigue life.
