The Speed Factory 800HP Vertical Flow Intercooler is specifically engineered for high-boost K-Series engine builds that demand significant cooling capacity, rated to support up to 800 horsepower. This intercooler utilizes a robust bar and plate construction combined with staggered fins to effectively shed heat without creating excessive airflow restriction, ensuring stable intake temperatures during demanding performance use. Designed with fitment in mind, this intercooler maximizes the use of available bumper openings on Honda and Acura chassis, providing a clean aesthetic and optimizing airflow utilization. Its efficient end tanks are crafted to reduce volume and promote smooth flow, contributing to quicker turbo spool and improved throttle response. The intercooler boasts a 3-inch thick core with dimensions of 27" x 6" x 3" and features 2.5-inch inlet and outlet connections with bead-rolled ends to securely hold silicone couplers under high boost pressures. The fully TIG-welded construction ensures exceptional durability for racing applications, and it includes M8x1.25mm aluminum mounting bungs for a straightforward installation. This SpeedFactory intercooler is compatible with the following vehicles: 2002-2006 Acura RSX, 2004-2008 Acura TSX, 2003-2007 Honda Accord, 2002-2011 Honda Civic Si, 2002-2006 Honda CR-V, and 2003-2011 Honda Element.
