The Rockford Fosgate M5-800X4 is an 800-watt, 4-channel amplifier engineered for demanding outdoor environments, boasting an IPX6 Element Ready™ design that protects against water, salt, and UV exposure. This amplifier features proprietary Class-AD technology for efficient power delivery and Discrete Surface Mount technology with tight tolerances for high efficiency and reduced cross-talk. Key features include C.L.E.A.N. (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) technology, which uses patented circuitry with input and output clip indicators to simplify setup and optimize sound quality. The P.O.W.E.R. supply design ensures increased output power as voltage rises. This amplifier is CTA-2006 compliant, providing real power ratings. Additional features for enhanced performance and reliability include MEHSA 4 (Maximum Efficiency Heat Sink Application) for improved thermal management, balanced differential inputs to eliminate noise, and a low-impedance stable design.
