8112 Twin Intercooler Set

The CSF #8112 twin intercooler set is engineered as a high-performance upgrade for Porsche 991 911 Turbo and Turbo S vehicles from 2014-2019. These intercoolers are considered a mandatory upgrade for vehicles running performance tunes, bolt-on modifications, or upgraded turbo systems, as they can handle significantly more airflow and increased boost pressures compared to the OEM system. The larger 115mm wide CSF bar/plate core design, compared to the OEM 80mm core, provides increased cooling capacity. Construction features include a heavy-duty bar and plate core and 100% TIG-welded all-aluminum cast end tanks, offering superior durability over the OEM crimped plastic end tanks which can fail under high boost or vibration. The intercooler cores are finished with an aerospace-grade, nano-particle heat dispersion coating that dissipates heat approximately 35% better than uncoated aluminum. The design ensures even airflow distribution throughout the entire intercooler. However, it is noted that some sources indicate a slight trimming to the upper intercooler shroud may be necessary to accommodate the thicker core. Available adapter fittings (CSF #8112A) can be used with aftermarket slip-on style charge pipes. This set is specifically designed for the 2014-2019 Porsche 991 911 Turbo and Turbo S models with the 3.8L H6 turbocharged engine.
