Description

The CSF #8131 is a high-performance heat exchanger engineered as a critical component for BMW B58/B48 engines, especially when extracting more power. Compared to the original OEM B58 heat exchanger, which is a single-row, 27mm thick unit, the CSF #8131 utilizes an industry-exclusive, world's largest 2-row core measuring 68mm with CSF's B-Tube technology. Despite its larger core, a unique tank design allows it to fit within the OEM cooling system housing. A key feature is the unique triple-pass flow design, where water cycles through the radiator three times before exiting. This ensures the lowest possible outlet water temperature, differentiating it from OEM and other aftermarket single-pass designs. Constructed with precision, the heat exchanger includes OEM CNC machined mounting location pins and brackets, along with CNC machined "quick connect" inlet/outlet water fittings. The unit comes with a detachable rock guard for added protection and features a 1-hour "mirror finish" hand polish for a premium aesthetic. It directly replaces OEM part number 17118741830.
