The Tomei Metal Head Gasket is engineered for enhanced engine performance in Honda B16 and B18 applications. This material choice significantly aids in dissipating heat, thereby reducing the risk of head gasket failure and promoting even heat distribution for improved cooling efficiency. The design allows for adjustments to the engine's compression ratio. A thicker head gasket, like this 0.7mm option, can be utilized to increase compression, while a thinner gasket could maintain the stock compression ratio. Tomei offers tools, including a Compression Ratio Calculator and Stock Engine Data, to assist users in selecting the appropriate gasket thickness for their specific needs. This head gasket is specifically designed to fit 1995-2001 Acura Integra models and 1996-2000 Honda Civic models. It is also noted as compatible with the 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si.
