The HPS Performance 827 Series air intake kit is engineered to enhance the performance of 2011-2023 Dodge Charger 3.6L V6 vehicles. This kit replaces the stock restrictive air box with a free-flowing, 3-1/2 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube, designed for excellent heat dissipation and durability. It delivers dyno-proven performance gains, increasing horsepower by 8 whp and torque by 9 ft-lbs, while also improving throttle response. Key features include a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel heat shield that effectively blocks hot air from reaching the air filter, ensuring optimal cooling. This intake system does not require tuning and will not trigger a Check Engine Light. Installation is straightforward, with no modifications needed. The kit comes complete with the aluminum intake tube, steel heat shield, air filter, silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps, mounting hardware, and a detailed installation manual with clear pictures. The product is proudly made in the United States and comes with a 2-year warranty. Important Note: This product is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California or on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle in the US.
