The HPS Performance 827 Series air intake kit is engineered to enhance your 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X 2.0L's performance. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a lightweight, mandrel-bent aluminum alloy tube measuring 3 inches in diameter, promoting better airflow and heat dissipation for improved durability. A key component is the heavy-duty, powder-coated steel heat shield, which integrates with the factory fresh air scoop to direct cold air to the filter, maximizing cooling effects. The installation process is straightforward, requiring no modifications and featuring a detailed manual with clear instructions and pictures. This kit is designed not to require tuning and will not trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL). Please note that this product is not CARB exempt and is unavailable for purchase or use in California on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle.
