827 Series Short Ram Air Intake

The HPS Performance 827 Series air intake kit is engineered to enhance airflow for non-turbocharged 2003-2009 Mazda 3 2.0L and 2.3L engines, as well as 2006-2007 Mazda 5 2.3L models. Constructed with a 2-1/2 inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this short ram system is designed to promote a free-flowing path for air into the engine, potentially leading to improved performance. Heat shield insulation is included in some variations of this kit to help reduce intake air temperatures. Installation involves connecting a rubber hose to the vent on the intake tube for vehicles equipped with a crankcase quick disconnect fitting. Note that HPS Performance Air Intakes are designated for Racing, Off-Road use.
