The IPD 82mm Competition Plenum is an advanced intake system developed through extensive research and development for the 981 Porsche Boxster and Cayman. This plenum is specifically engineered to work with the larger 82mm throttle body from the 997 GT3, replacing the stock 74mm unit to significantly boost performance. The engineering behind this plenum focuses on optimizing airflow. It features custom silicone hose to accommodate the larger throttle body and an internal dimpling effect that reduces friction and enhances air tumbling, similar to a dimpled golf ball.
