Overview

Each crankshaft has its balance shaft drive gear removed to reduce rotational weight and is machined for a 3mm keyway for accurate timing. It is balanced to F1 standards of 0.5 gram and features an 83.1mm stroke.

The mountune Keyed Crankshaft is a performance-enhanced component derived from a genuine Ford Focus ST crankshaft. This unit undergoes internal processing to maximize reliable performance. To reduce rotational weight, the balance shaft drive gear is removed, which necessitates the use of a Balance Shaft Delete Kit.
