The Kirkey Racing 83 Series Seat Kit is a containment racing seat designed for vehicles with limited space. It features a 10-degree layback design and is constructed from MIG-welded 5052 grade aluminum using .100" and .190" thick material. This seat is available in multiple sizes, including 14", 15", 16", 17", and 18.5".

This entry-level seat is specifically recommended for low-horsepower vehicles participating in racing on shorter tracks with lower corner speeds. The kit includes an aluminum seat with a black cloth cover and offers adjustable head and shoulder restraints for added support. It is compatible with all head and neck restraint systems and 5- or 6-point seat belts.

The Kirkey Racing 83 Series Seat Kit is a standard containment racing seat engineered for optimal safety and comfort in vehicles with limited interior space. This seat is constructed from durable 5052 grade aluminum, MIG welded using both .100" and .190" thick material for robust integrity. The kit features a 10-degree layback design, promoting a comfortable driving position for extended racing sessions. It is available in multiple sizes, including 14", 15", 16", 17", and 18.5", allowing for a customized fit. The seat includes energy-absorbing impact padding on the head restraint and high-density foam on the bottom for inner thigh support. Adjustability is key, with shoulder and back restraints offering 2-1/2" of vertical adjustment and the head restraint providing an additional 3/4" of vertical adjustment. Designed for easy entry and exit from race cars, the Kirkey 83 Series seat is compatible with all head and neck restraint systems and designed to accommodate 5- or 6-point seat belts, featuring molded rubber inserts for belt openings. The seat also comes with an easy-to-install black cloth cover and a modular design for potentially lower shipping costs. Replacement covers are available separately.
