8311 RANGER/9410 MAZDA B2300/B3000/B4000 CLASS II RECEIVER

The CURT 12012 is a Class 2 trailer hitch specifically designed for a custom fit on various years of the Ford Ranger and Mazda B-Series trucks. This includes the Ford Ranger from 1983-2011, Mazda B2300 from 1994-1997 and 2001-2009, Mazda B3000 from 1994-1996 and 1998-2007, and Mazda B4000 from 1994-2009. It is rated for a gross trailer weight (GTW) of up to 3,500 lbs. and a tongue weight (TW) of 350 lbs., making it suitable for a range of light-duty towing needs.

This particular hitch features a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver tube opening, which is an industry standard size. This allows it to accept various hitch-mounted accessories with a corresponding 1-1/4" shank, such as ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers. Installation is rated as "Novice" difficulty and drilling is required, with installation hardware included to facilitate the process.

The CURT 12012 is constructed from carbon steel and finished with a gloss black powder coat, co-cured in a liquid A-coat for enhanced rust resistance. It is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety and performance. It's important to note that trailer hitch weight ratings are limited to the vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities, and this hitch is not compatible with vertical hanging bicycle racks.
