The HPS Performance 837 Series air intake kit is a cold air intake system for 1998-2002 Honda Accord 2.3L models that utilizes a 2-3/4 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube. This kit relocates the air filter outside the engine bay to improve air intake temperatures and can be configured as a shortram intake.

The system includes high-temperature reinforced silicone hoses and stainless steel t-bolt clamps for durability.

The HPS Performance 837 Series air intake kit is an aluminum induction system designed for 1998-2002 Honda Accord 2.3L DX, EX, LX, VP, and SE trims. It replaces the restrictive factory air box with a 2-3/4 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube, which optimizes airflow and improves heat dissipation. By relocating the reusable HPS air filter outside of the engine compartment, the system delivers cooler air to the engine, resulting in increased horsepower, torque, and improved throttle response. The design allows for a versatile setup, as it can be converted into a shortram air intake. Installation is straightforward with the provided manual, and the kit requires no modifications to the vehicle. Please note that this product is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California or on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle. It is compatible specifically with 1998-2002 Honda Accord 2.3L models, including sedan and coupe configurations.
