Description

The HPS Performance 837 Series air intake kit is a cold air intake system engineered for the 2002-2006 Nissan Altima 2.5L 4Cyl. This system is designed to replace the restrictive stock air box with a free-flowing, 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube, optimizing airflow for improved performance. The relocated HPS Performance Air Filter is positioned outside the engine compartment to capture the coolest possible ambient air, leading to a more potent combustion process. This enhanced airflow can result in increased horsepower, torque, and a more responsive throttle. The kit offers the flexibility to be converted into a short-ram intake setup depending on preference or space constraints. The washable and reusable HPS Performance Air Filter ensures sustained performance and longevity. Installation is straightforward, with a detailed manual provided, and no engine tuning or modifications are required. This intake is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California.
