84.5mm Throttle Body

The Accufab 84.5mm throttle body is a premium upgrade designed to replace the restrictive stock throttle body on 2011-2014 Mustang GT 5.0L and Boss 302 models. This unit measures 84.5mm and offers a 32% increase in airflow over the OEM component, aiming to significantly improve throttle response and overall horsepower. Constructed from CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a polished exterior, this throttle body boasts exceptional quality and durability. It is manufactured in the USA. Installation notes include the fact that the inlet opening is 4.00 inches OD, which may require a step-hose to reduce to 3.50 inches OD if using the OEM air cleaner inlet tube. Most aftermarket cold air kits with a 4.00-inch OD should fit without issue. Crucially, tuning is REQUIRED when installing this throttle body to ensure proper operation and performance. The Mechanical Race Version (Part # F84.5M) is noted as being for custom applications only and fits the Boss 302 manifold exclusively. It requires an 86-93 Ford 5.0 Mustang pigtail style TPS, an aftermarket ECU, and a gas pedal.
