84mm Throttle Body Upgrade

The GAS 84mm Throttle Body Upgrade is engineered to significantly enhance airflow and performance for Audi 3.0T EA837 engines. This upgrade utilizes a genuine VDO 84mm throttle body, offering a substantial 44% increase in opening size compared to the factory component, which translates to improved flow, particularly when matched with a ported supercharger. The throttle body is crafted from durable billet material and comes with a billet adapter plate. This plate features a pre-machined port for Water-Methanol Injection (WMI) systems, allowing for easy installation without modifying the intake or supercharger inlet. The kit includes a 1/8" NPT stainless steel plug for this port. This kit is compatible with various aftermarket ECU software from tuning companies such as Jackal, APR, 034, and IE, though re-pinning of the wiring harness may be required for 034 software. It is also 100% compatible with the MercRacing MRA1900 supercharger upgrade. Upgraded throttle body software is a mandatory requirement for this kit's operation and is compatible with all major tuning companies. The included wiring harness is pre-pinned for Jackal/APR ECU software, and hardware for the throttle body and supercharger, along with a fuel/oil & methanol resistant gasket set, are also provided. This kit ships with a 3.5" coupler, with options for different sizes available upon request.
