85mm Billet Throttle Body

The aFe POWER 85mm Billet Throttle Body is precision-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, offering a subtle yet custom look. This upgrade increases the bore diameter from the stock 80mm to 85mm, aerodynamically improving the air flow path. aFe designed this throttle body to provide dyno-proven horsepower and torque gains, with up to +17 HP and +15 lb-ft of torque reported. Its design out-flows the OE by 17% at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) and significantly improves airflow at 90% throttle blade opening for smoother power delivery in the upper RPM range. The 85mm diameter is chosen specifically because it requires no custom tuning and provides a direct path into the stock 84mm intake manifold opening, avoiding the need for manifold modifications. The product is compatible with the stock intake tube or aftermarket cold air intakes without requiring special adapters. It is primarily designed for the Ford Mustang GT 18-25 V8-5.0L and also fits select F-Series trucks. A specific fitment note indicates that for the 2024 Mustang 5.0L, two throttle bodies are required.
