Description

This can lead to increased engine longevity and reliability under stress. Constructed from high-strength 8740 chromoly steel, these studs are heat-treated in-house to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. ARP employs a precision J-form threading process that is rolled after heat-treating, resulting in superior thread strength compared to conventional methods. The kit is comprehensive, including hardened, parallel-ground washers and standard 12-point nuts, ensuring a secure and precise installation. This main stud kit is engineered for specific Mazda applications, including the 1990-1995 Mazda 323, 1990-1997 and 1999-2005 Mazda Miata, 1992-1993 Mazda MX3, and 1994-2000 Mazda Protege. It is compatible with 2-bolt main configurations and the B6 (DOHC 16 Valve) 1.6L 4 Cyl engine.
