The ARP Head Stud Kit is engineered to ensure robust head-to-block sealing in high-performance, low-displacement 4-cylinder engines. Constructed from top-grade 8740 chromoly steel, each stud undergoes rigorous heat treatment to achieve a tensile strength of 200,000 psi, surpassing lesser-quality studs. ARP's meticulous process includes centerless grinding for exceptional straightness and thread rolling post-heat treatment, significantly enhancing fatigue strength by approximately 1000% compared to less rigorous methods. This kit provides a higher clamping force essential for maintaining seal integrity, especially in high-boost scenarios. It offers enhanced resistance to head lifting, thereby ensuring greater engine durability and performance. The kit includes 10 ARP head studs, 10 ARP 12-point nuts, 10 custom-designed MAPerformance L15B7 Headstud Spacers for accurate torque application, and ARP Assembly Lube. This is a high-performance racing component intended for dual-purpose vehicles and is not an OEM replacement. The kit is specifically designed for the 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T and the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Si models equipped with the L15B7 engine.
