The ARP Head Stud Kit (PN 228-4301) is engineered as a critical upgrade for Hyundai 2.0L G4KF engines, specifically targeting applications requiring enhanced cylinder head clamping force. These head studs are constructed from premium 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to achieve a remarkable tensile strength of 200,000 p.s.i. ARP's advanced manufacturing process involves precision J-form threads that are rolled after heat treatment. For proper installation and optimal performance, the kit also contains a 0.5 oz. pack of ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant. These head studs are considered a must-have for high horsepower and high RPM engine builds, ensuring the integrity of the cylinder head seal.
