Description

Constructed from 8740 chromoly steel, these studs are heat-treated in-house to achieve a robust 190,000 psi tensile strength rating. ARP's precision J-form threads are rolled after heat-treatment, ensuring superior strength compared to competitors. This main stud kit is specifically designed for 2-bolt main applications and is not compatible with factory windage trays. It is intended for Ford Modular 4.6L 2-valve engines. The kit includes 10 studs, and is backed by ARP's standard manufacturer warranty. Specific applications include: 1994-1995 Ford Cougar, 1992-1998 Ford Crown Victoria, 1997-1998 Ford E-series, 1997-1998 Ford Expedition, 1997-1998 Ford F-150, 1997-1998 Ford F-250, 1992-1998 Ford Grand Marquis, 1996-1998 Ford Mustang, and 1994-1997 Ford Thunderbird.
