The PWR North America intercooler is a front mount intercooler designed for the 2017-2021 FK8 Honda Civic Type R. It features an 87mm thick core to reduce heat soak and maintain consistent intake temperatures during demanding driving conditions.

The PWR 87mm Front Mount Intercooler is engineered specifically for the 2017–2021 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) to combat the limitations of the stock intercooler under increased boost and high-performance driving. Featuring an 87mm thick core, this intercooler utilizes a race-inspired design with louvered R-fins and extruded tubes to maximize airflow and heat dissipation. The robust billet aluminum end tanks ensure smooth and efficient flow while providing superior strength to withstand the rigors of track use. PWR's commitment to quality is evident in its handcrafted and TIG-welded construction in the USA. Installation is streamlined thanks to its direct-fit design, which integrates seamlessly with the factory mounting points and OEM charge pipes. This means no cutting or complex modifications are required, ensuring a straightforward upgrade process. The intercooler is compatible with the FK8 Civic Type R, including the 2021 Limited Edition model. Key specifications include a core height of 7.05 inches and an overall height of 7.24 inches, with a core width of 26.18 inches and an overall width of 33.46 inches.
