Overview

The Hypertech Street Runner Power Chip is a Stage 1 computer chip designed to replace your stock PROM for improved performance in US domestic vehicles. It enhances fuel flow and spark advance curves for better performance at wide-open throttle without affecting idle or part-throttle settings, thus preserving mileage and emissions.

This chip is engineered for stock vehicles using premium pump gas (91 Octane or better) and is compatible with Turbo 400 transmissions. It is designed for 1981-1995 GM vehicles and is intended for use on US domestic vehicles only, as it may have limited compatibility with vehicles outside the USA due to regional differences.
