It is engineered to retain skid plate mounts and features a custom piston specifically designed for the OEM Honda XR/CRF70 cylinder head.

The BBR Motorsports 88cc Big Bore Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of your Honda XR/CRF70 motorcycle. Designed and developed by BBR, this kit offers a reliable performance upgrade for models manufactured between 1997 and 2012. The kit includes a BBR aluminum cylinder, a 52mm piston specially designed to work with the stock cylinder head's combustion chamber, and a complete gasket kit. A key feature is that the cylinder retains the original skid plate mounts, ensuring compatibility with your bike's existing setup. It is crucial to note that this bore kit is not compatible with the OEM Honda XR/CRF50 cylinder head. The piston dome in this kit is too tall for the XR/CRF50 head and can cause engine damage. For XR/CRF50 applications, BBR offers a separate, specifically designed bore kit. This big bore kit has been confirmed to fit the following Honda models: 2004-Present CRF70, 1997 XR70, and 1998-Present XR70.
