The BBR Motorsports 411-HXR-5500 is an 88cc big bore kit engineered to significantly enhance the performance of Honda XR/CRF50 models, specifically those from 2000 to the present. This comprehensive kit is developed by BBR Motorsports, a leader in four-stroke playbike performance upgrades. This kit includes essential components for a substantial power increase. You'll receive a BBR aluminum cylinder that retains its skid plate mounts, a specially designed 52mm flat top piston that works with your stock cylinder head's combustion chamber, an exclusive BBR motocross-grind camshaft for optimized performance, and a complete gasket kit. Easy bolt-on instructions are included, making installation straightforward. It is important to note the specific fitment requirements for this kit. It is designed exclusively for the tiny combustion chamber of the OEM Honda XR/CRF50 cylinder head. This kit will not work with the Honda XR/CRF70 or other big port cylinder heads. Using a CRF70 type cylinder head with this kit's flat top piston will result in an extremely low compression ratio, leading to less horsepower than stock. For those seeking an upgrade for the XR/CRF70, BBR offers a different bore kit. This kit runs great with the stock carburetor or can be paired with BBR's 18mm carb kit for even greater performance gains. The kit also fits the 1988-1999 Z50R models equipped with a short piston.
