The Tommy Gate 89-16 RF 45-6 is a Railgate series liftgate designed for flatbed and van applications. It features a two-piece extruded aluminum platform with 45" loading depth (15" flipper) and a 6" taper (30" base height). The liftgate has a 1600lb lifting capacity and operates with a roller chain and hydraulic cylinder drive system. The hydraulic system is enclosed for protection and includes a pressure relief valve and cylinder-mounted flow control valves for safety. The electrical system features a moisture-resistant toggle switch control unit, a 150 Amp continuous circuit breaker, and a factory-supplied 4 AWG power/ground cable. Safety features include a curb-side fixed control, pressure relief valve, and a safety trip bar.
