The Techtonics Tuning 109_074 hydraulic camshaft is engineered to enhance high-end performance in street and mild race engines. This cam features a 276-degree duration, .448-inch lift, and 110-degree lobe centers. Due to its performance profile, it produces a rough idle and is not recommended for OBDII-equipped vehicles. It will not pass smog testing. This camshaft is compatible with US-spec 1.8L and 2.0L 8v hydraulic lifter engines and various European versions. For owners of non-US spec engines, verification of engine code, year, and model with the manufacturer is required to ensure proper fitment. Installation requires specific hardware upgrades and component selection to prevent engine damage. This camshaft is not for use with stock engines or standard valve springs. Additionally, it must not be used with late-style lightweight lifters; installers must use the early (’95 and older) 109_090 (034 109 309 AD) lifter set.
