The LuK Clutch Kit, part number 07-140, is a RepSet designed to provide reliable clutch performance and a comfortable pedal feel. As an original-equipment supplier, LuK develops clutch specifications for individual vehicle applications, ensuring a precise fit and consistent operation over the life of the clutch. Key specifications include a 9.125-inch disc diameter, a 1-inch input shaft diameter, and 23 spline teeth. It utilizes an S-coil spring pressure plate type. This specific kit is an OE self-adjusting style clutch. This LuK OE Quality Replacement Clutch Set is confirmed to be an exact fit for a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3L RWD, and also fits 1998 Ford Ranger XLT models with either a 2.3L or 2.5L engine. It is also compatible with Mazda B2300 (1995-1997, 2001-2009), B2500 (1998-2001), and B3000 models. The kit does not include a throwout bearing or a flywheel, and it is designed as a direct replacement, meaning LuK does not recommend replacing additional gaskets beyond what is typically replaced during a standard clutch job.
