The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1545A-P is a remanufactured rear axle assembly designed for select Dodge trucks. It incorporates a Posi Traction limited-slip differential, a 9.25-inch Chrysler ring gear, and a 3.55 gear ratio. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to ensure precision and reliability. Zumbrota Drivetrain inspects all axle tubes for straightness and housings for wear and cracks. Crucially, 100% of internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. To guarantee performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The gears are meticulously set for optimal tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque measured in inch-pounds, and precise backlash to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. Zumbrota employs a unique cleaning procedure involving hydro-blasting and sandblasting, followed by a proprietary shot-peening process.
