Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1438D-P is a remanufactured axle assembly built to high standards of precision and reliability for Chrysler 9.25-inch axles. This unit features a 3.55 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD) with Posi Traction and ABS. The assembly has a 12-bolt cover and utilizes a semi-floating axle type. All bearings and seals are replaced during the remanufacturing process, and the gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct setup using inch-pound measurements for longevity. Gear backlash is precisely set for proper lubrication and quiet operation, and axle tubes are checked for OEM straightness. Zumbrota employs a hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning procedure for its parts. This axle assembly is specifically designed for 1989 and 1990 Dodge 1/2 ton trucks. It comes with the cover included, but does not include differential fluid.
