The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1927B is a remanufactured complete axle assembly built to high standards of precision and reliability. Each assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. To ensure longevity and performance, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are meticulously set for optimal tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque measured in inch-pounds, and proper backlash for quiet operation and lubrication. The remanufacturing process employed by Zumbrota Drivetrain sets a high standard. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for wear and cracks. A distinctive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, is used to restore housings to their original OEM finish. This specific axle assembly features a Chrysler 9.25-inch ring gear size, a 12-bolt hexagon cover, and Posi Traction for enhanced grip.
