Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain 9.25" axle assembly is a remanufactured rear axle assembly built for 2006-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD models. This specific assembly features a 3.55 gear ratio and a Posi-Traction (LSD) differential, ensuring enhanced traction and performance. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutch, and carrier, are 100% inspected. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced, with new rolling torque established using precise inch-pound measurements for optimal setup and longevity. Housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish. This axle assembly is specifically designed for 2WD Ram 1500 models and excludes SRT10 and Mega Cab variants. It also does not include models equipped with ESP.
