The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2268B-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for the Chrysler 9.25ZF rear differential, specifically for the 2012 Ram 1500 with a 3.55 gear ratio and Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD). Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds these axle assemblies to high standards of precision and reliability. Each unit undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested. New bearings and seals are installed in every assembly. The gears are precisely set for optimal tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque (measured in inch-pounds), and proper backlash to ensure longevity, quiet operation, and adequate gear lubrication. The axle tubes are inspected to ensure they meet OEM standards for straightness.
