The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2307A-P is a remanufactured 9.5-inch rear differential axle assembly designed for 2014-2018 GM 1500 models equipped with a 3.08 gear ratio and Posi-Traction. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internally, all components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are subjected to 100% inspection. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. The housing is then cleaned using a hydro-blasting and rinsing process to restore an OEM finish. Precision is paramount in the remanufacturing of this differential. Correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements to ensure precision setup and longevity, while proper gear backlash is set for optimal lubrication and quiet operation. This axle assembly is a semi-floating type and includes the cover, but does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
