9.75" 3.31 Posi Traction Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2040A-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for 1999-2000 Ford Expedition models with a Ford 9.75-inch ring gear. This assembly features a 3.31 gear ratio, 12mm wheel studs, and a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD). The unit is thoroughly inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear, ensuring it meets OEM standards. During the remanufacturing process, all internal components are meticulously inspected and tested, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. To guarantee optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The gears are checked for proper tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, with backlash set precisely for quiet operation and proper lubrication. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process for internal and external parts. This axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. It is built to order and comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
