The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2021E-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly specifically designed for the 2000 Ford F-150. This assembly features a robust 9.75-inch ring gear and a 3.73 gear ratio, paired with a Posi Traction limited-slip differential for enhanced traction. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assembly is rebuilt to exacting standards, undergoing thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are meticulously inspected and tested. Crucially, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure peak performance and longevity. The gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and precise setup, with correct gear backlash established for proper lubrication and quiet operation. The remanufacturing process includes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peened deep cleaning for both internal and external parts. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and all housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. This rigorous process ensures that each axle assembly meets high standards of precision and reliability. Note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
