The Hughes Performance GM92BILLET-40 is a 9-inch billet torque converter engineered for high-performance applications. Featuring a 4000 RPM stall speed, this converter is designed to handle up to 750 fwhp and is transbrake compatible, making it suitable for demanding racing conditions. Constructed with a billet steel cover, this converter is built for durability and performance. It is designed with a Small Block/Big Block Chevy pilot and offers multiple bolt pattern configurations to ensure compatibility. Available bolt patterns include 3x10.75 for TH350 and TH400 (BPO), and 3x11.50 for TH400 transmissions. This torque converter is compatible with a range of GM transmissions, including Powerglide transmissions with a Turbo Shaft, TH350, and TH400 models. Its non-lock-up design is suited for specific performance setups where traditional lock-up is not required or desired.
