It features a Centurion housing and 31-spline performance axles, built to the stock overall width of 63.625 inches with a .5-inch pinion offset. The housing includes all necessary 3rd member studs, Torino style large bearing housing ends, and heavy-duty GM leaf spring pads installed at stock specifications.

The Currie Enterprises CE-GMC7387X5-07 is a fully assembled 9-inch crate rear end, specifically engineered as a bolt-in upgrade for 1973-1987 Chevrolet and GMC C10 trucks. This unit features Currie's renowned Centurion® housing and a 31-spline performance axle package, constructed to match the original stock width of 63.625 inches and a .5-inch pinion offset for a direct fit. Constructed in the USA, the housing is made from seamless steel tubing (3-inch O.D., 1/4-inch wall) and includes all 3rd member studs, Torino style late model large bearing housing ends, and heavy-duty GM leaf spring pads pre-installed at stock specifications. The custom alloy 31-spline bolt-in axles come equipped with bearings, studs, seals, and 1/4-inch thick heavy-duty bearing retainer plates, as well as Timken style tapered wheel bearings pressed on. The package also includes a Currie Twin-Trac, a 1330 Series pinion yoke, and ring & pinion. This rear end comes standard with leaf spring axle pads and is available with various options to suit specific needs, including gear ratios (3.25, 3.50, 3.70, 4.11), bolt patterns (5x4.5, 5x4.75, 5x5, 6x5.5), and brake configurations (11" Drum Brakes or 11" Explorer Disc with Plain Rotor). The standard finish is bare metal, with no coating applied.
