Description

The Yukon steel spool is engineered to convert a differential to 100% lockup, installing directly in place of your differential carrier assembly. It is specifically designed to fit Ford 9-inch rear ends equipped with 35-spline axles and features a small bearing journal that accommodates 2.968" and 3.062" dropouts. This component ensures that 100% of available traction is delivered to both wheels simultaneously, making it an outstanding choice for dedicated off-road and drag racing vehicles. However, due to its nature of providing constant lockup, it is not recommended for street-driven vehicles where differential action is needed for normal turning. Key specifications include 35-spline axle compatibility, small bearing journal support for 2.968" and 3.062" housings, and a 100% locked differential output. The material is 8620 steel, and it undergoes a heat-treating process to maximize strength and longevity under stress.
