9" IRS Kit

The GForce 5th Gen Camaro 9" IRS Kit is engineered as a robust upgrade for the factory differential, addressing common strength and reliability limitations encountered with increased power or aggressive driving. This kit features a Strange Engineering aluminum center section, known for its durability and compatibility with the Strange S-Trac differential, which provides a balance of OEM-like drivability and substantial torque capacity. Included in the kit is a GForce fabricated rear housing designed to adapt the 9" center section to the factory cradle. It comes standard with Renegade Axles, with an option to upgrade to Outlaw Axles, and a 4" aluminum driveshaft featuring a Sonnax slip joint, tested to be stronger than industry standards. The kit also includes upgraded polyurethane differential bushings as standard, with an option to upgrade to billet aluminum for applications demanding higher torque handling and racing performance. GForce strongly encourages upgrading polyurethane cradle bushings separately for enhanced rear-end stability. Installation may require modifications, such as clearance adjustments for the driveshaft, particularly with aftermarket exhaust systems or lowered vehicles. Some vehicles may need modifications to the passenger side factory driveshaft carrier bearing mount. Clearance issues between axle boots and suspension components are also possible and may require adjustments to OEM shock mounts or the purchase of low-profile boots, which reduce available axle angle and are not ideal for significantly lowered vehicles or high axle angle applications. This kit is specifically designed for 2010-2015 Camaros and is not guaranteed to fit with other aftermarket suspension components.
