RKI Chest Truck Tool Box Black Steel Model UST90CB. Only intended to mount on a flat bed or chest style install. Hull of box is constructed of 14 gauge cold rolled steel. Welds are full arc welds, no spot welds. Box incorporates a 4-1/2” deep top opening compartment. Top opening compartment has adjustable divider slots on 2” centers. Lid is constructed of 14 gauge cold rolled steel, with a 14 gauge cold rolled steel inner stiffener. Spring type lid props assist in the opening and closing of the lid. Lid is attached to the hull of the box with six 4” stainless steel butt hinges that are welded to the hull of the box and the lid. Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in the lid to seal against the flange around the top compartment opening. Lid design forms a drip rail over the doors. 8 dividers are furnished for top opening compartment. Front horizontally hinged doors are constructed of 14 gauge cold rolled steel, with a 14 gauge cold rolled steel inner stiffener. Doors are attached to the hull of the box with 3 stainless steel pillow block type hinges with self-lubricating bushings and 5/16" stainless steel hinge pins. Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in a full perimeter channel around the door opening. Hinges are welded to the box. Doors have heavy duty machine chain to hold them in the horizontal position. Chain detaches to swing the door down to 180°. A full size, stainless steel paddle handle rotary latch is recessed into each door of the box. Doors can be closed with the latch in the locked position. Two keys are furnished per box. Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in a full perimeter channel around the door openings. A knife edge is formed into the door to contact the seal in the door channel. Box goes through a five-stage state-of-the art metal pretreatment anti-corrosion protection system and is finished with a super durable black polyester powder coat. Mounting hardware included.
