9000 Series 9-Inch Twin Disc Clutch

This 9000 series clutch features a 9-inch (225mm) diameter twin disc configuration, which substantially reduces the moment of inertia (MOI). This reduction allows more power to be efficiently transferred to the ground and enables quicker, more precise gear shifts compared to heavier stock flywheels. The clutch utilizes a sprung center with cushioned discs and Mantic's premium Ceremetallic friction material. This combination provides enhanced torque capacity and superior heat resistance while maintaining excellent drivability. The all-billet construction ensures no flex at high RPMs, and the clutch is completely rebuildable for long-term serviceability. Pedal effort is increased by approximately 12-15% over the OE clutch. Key specifications include SFI Approved 1.1 rating, an all-billet construction, a lightened aluminum flywheel (12 lbs), and a torque capacity of 1010 ft-lbs at the crank and 820-850 ft-lbs at the wheels. Note that capacity can vary based on the type of power adder used (Naturally Aspirated, Supercharger, Nitrous, or Turbo). This kit is designed for Dodge Challenger models with Hemi 5.7L, 6.2L, or 6.4L engines from 2008-2023, including R/T and SRT8 trims. It also fits the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat from 2015-2023. A special note applies to 2011 Challenger models, which feature a 1-1/8 x 10 spline and require part number M921CHALY-2011.
